Tried and Tested: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion
Today I want to talk to you guys about a beauty product that saved my eyes. Alright, yes that's a bit dramatic but you get what I mean. The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion (£45.00) is hands down a Holy Grail, cannot live without product; I always have a spare in the cupboard.
I've been using this every morning and night for about a year and a half now and I can honestly say I love it. I was suffering from really dry eyelids and nothing I used seemed to work. I don't to if it was the extra cold winter that caused it but they were bad. The skin on my lids was flaky and my eyelids basically looked white it was that bad. I couldn't wear eye shadow because it looked awful and I if I tried to use concealer over it it just turned into a patchy mess.
My mum then suggested I try her eye serum the Advanced Night Repair Synchronised Eye Recovery Complex (£38.00). This really helped hydrate my lids and pretty much solved the issue in two days. After a couple of weeks though, we ran out and mum returned home with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion which is supposed to be even better that its original. The most notable difference between the two is that the Infusion Serum has a much thinner consistency but is more hydrating. I still use this morning and night without fail and have not experienced the return of the dreaded dry eyelids. Compared to the Recovery Complex, this feels lighter on the eyes and is absorbed immediately.
Let's also appreciate the fact that the Infusion Serum comes in pump form compared to the pot of it's predecessor. There's something about pumping a product onto your hands that's more hygienic than scooping it out of a pot! I apply one pump and distribute it onto each ring finger and pat it on the lid. I also use it in the more traditional way of applying it under the eyes. It does a very good job at reducing puffiness and dark circles. It's the kind of product that you notice a difference when you don't use it.
I highly recommend this eye serum. I know it's hideously expensive, especially as you only get 15ml, but in my opinion, it is totally worth the investment. I will probably always use this eye serum and if they were to discontinue it, I think my heart would break just a little bit. Yes that is me being over dramatic again- sorry!
What eye cream/serum do you recommend? I'd love to know!
Thanks for reading,
Avani
xoxo
