Review: Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express

Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express Mascara (£7.99) isn't exactly a new product but I still love it. After reading mixed reviews, I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about. My verdict, I love it! 



I look for both volume and length in a mascara and this didn't disappoint. I love that I can make it very natural or keep building it up to give that false lash effect. I've tried Maybelline The Falsies and whilst I think that is a good mascara, The Rocket is great. The picture below really doesn't do the mascara much justice.

It has really fat plastic wand which some people will hate but I think it makes coating the root of the lash easier. No matter how many coats I apply, it doesn't clump my lashes either. It lasts all day without flaking or giving the dreaded panda eyes and you can still coat your bottom lashes too, despite the fat wand.

I think this mascara is definitely worth checking out, even if you are unsure about it. The price is great too so if you end up hating it, at least it wasn't too expensive.
