I love the Cicaplast range from La Roche Posay. I mean I really love it! I've tried the hand cream and the Cicaplast Baume B5, both of which I highly recommend to dry skin gals like myself.
First up, Cicaplast Hands (£6.50,50ml), a super hydrating yet light cream. I say cream but I would describe it as a cream/balm hybrid. It has the intense hydration of a balm with the convenience of a cream. I have eczema on my hands and this soothed and hydrated them in a day. This has fast become a holy grail product for me; I've already been through four of these bad boys! It feels great on the skin too, no stickiness in sit and is absorbed immediately. I also love the fact that it has no smell.....at all.
Onto the Cicaplast Baume B5 (£6.50,40ml/ £13.50,100ml) purchased purely because I'm a sucker for those do it all balms. They're just very useful to have around and can be used on any dry patches. After being wowed by the hand cream, I had high expectations for this product, and let me say, it did not disappoint! This is extremely thick so a tiny amount goes a long way. I actually use this all over my face as my night time moisturiser, with no breakouts in sight. It soothed my dry patches and just did a good job at repairing my skin, without feeling greasy and heavy. Like its hand cream counterpart, it's absorbed into the skin immediately. I can't say I've noticed much of a smell either.
These products are absolute winners in my opinion. If you have dry hands or just dry skin in general, then you need to check these out. I'm also really intrigued by the other products in this range. Let me know in the comments what you've tried for dry skin; I'm always on the hunt for new products!
